OUR STORY

How we started

 

Once upon a time there was a young girl who used to gaze into cake shop windows with wonder and delight.

She said "Mommy, I am going to make cakes like that one day!", and so the seed was sewn...my name is Sarah and I have been baking since I was 16 years old. I started out with cakes for the family and later blossomed into For Goodness Cakes. We started in South Africa until my little family immigrated to Maidenhead in the Uk in late 2016. I have a great husband and two beautiful children. 

With lots of hard work, inspiration and the whisking of batter, many creations have come to life. Each one more ambitious than the last, in filling, texture and decoration.

I will work with your budget and requirements to make something magical for you!

Cakes and yummy treats:

The imagination has no limit! We offer anything from tiered wedding cakes, children's cakes, birthday cakes, Christmas cakes, baby shower cakes to cupcakes, desserts, or an entire dessert table for you including sweetie jars, chocolates, cake pops and more! We are driven by passion for beautiful things and great tastes. The quality of our cakes will exceed your creative desires and the burst of flavours are out of this world! We can create anything from fun and funky childrens cakes, to divinely romantic wedding cakes to exquisitely cute baby shower cakes. Elegance and taste combined. All our desserts, sponges, and puddings are home made to perfection with the freshest ingredients.

We are very competitively priced and work with your budget and theme to create something truly spectacular.

We have now extended our service offering to gluten free cakes.

We can offer themed posters, designs for the party table,  thank you/ party bags and more. These are designed specifically for your event and are only available as add on items.
